We’re looking for a Unity Developer to join the team driving the first 7-day experience of new players — a core journey in Papaya’s product.

You’ll play a key role in delivering smooth, engaging game features that shape a player’s first impression and ongoing connection. As part of a full-stack team, you’ll be responsible for coding, architecture, and deep collaboration with backend, product, and game stakeholders.We offer a hybrid work model with flexibility at our growing Warsaw office.

• Implement new game features in Unity that improve onboarding and early engagement.
• Build clean, scalable architecture to support fast iteration and long-term performance.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to develop full-stack experiences with server communication.
• Ensure high-quality, bug-free gameplay for millions of new players.
• Participate in planning, design, and continuous improvement alongside a cross-functional team.
• Full ownership and delivering feature from a-z.
• Work on long retention meta features.
• Optimizing the game for the best performance on all supported devices.
• Design, implement and innovate features with cutting-edge technologies.
• Make sure the games maintain excellent performance and a great user experience.

• 2+ years of hands-on Unity development experience.
• Strong skills in gameplay mechanics, UI/UX, and performance optimization.
• Experience working in teams with backend integration (client-server model).
• Familiarity with scalable architecture and clean code principles.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, engineers, and product managers.
• A team player who enjoys working with others.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Passion for games.
• Familiar with await and async tasks - an advantage.
• Experience in iOS and Android in Unity development and deployment - an advantage.
